Legal Assistant - Litigation

An opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join the Litigation team at this well established mid tier law firm.

This role supports two Associates and as such you'll feel confident in handling a large volume of files as well as enjoy working in a fast paced environment. 

Some of your responsibilities will include: 

• taking telephone calls and assisting where appropriate
• word processing of basic correspondence and documents
• arranging and making diary appointments
• arranging opening and closing of files
• assisting with the preparation of Court documents
• general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning documents, sorting incoming mail etc.

• approximately 2+ years experience as a legal secretary in Litigation
• intermediate MS Word/typing skills
• great attention to detail
• excellent time management skills
• a friendly team attitude and a pro-active approach
