    Our client is a  highly regarded mid-sized Commercial law firm  conveniently located in the heart of the CBD. 
     
    About the role...
    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager to lead a small team and work closely with the firm’s Partners to drive the development and implementation of its marketing, communications and brand strategy.
     
    This role will be both operational and strategic in its focus, meaning a high level of ‘hands on’ involvement across the areas of:-
    • Client Relationship Management
    • Business Development
    • Communications & Digital Marketing
    • Advertising, Merchandising and Collateral
    • Sponsorship & Donations
    In particular this will involve responsibilities such as: focusing on key clients, profile raising and exploiting new growth areas to develop and implement a profitable growth strategy; coaching and supporting Partners and Senior Lawyers in their marketing and business endeavours; developing and implementing a social media strategy; and driving the firm’s brand communications and marketing strategy.
     
    About the ideal candidate…
    Critical to the success of this role is the  ability to build relationships with the firm’s Partners , a  collaborative and approachable manner  as well as a  proactive approach . A tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline (Marketing or Business Development) will be highly regarded but is not essential.
     
    Most importantly, you will be able to demonstrate:-
    • Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to prioritise issues and multiple projects
    • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
    • An enthusiastic and ‘solutions-focused’ approach that identifies and seizes opportunities and can demonstrate accountability
    • 2-3 years’ relevant experience in professional services
