Personal Injury Lawyer (2-3 years)

An opportunity is now available for a mid-level Personal Injury Lawyer with a  min. of 2 years experience to join an established and highly regarded law firm with beautiful offices located in the CBD.
 
About this role...
In this role you will have the opportunity for autonomy working with clients in relation to a range of Personal Injury matters including a primary focus on WorkCover (approx. 60-65%), TAC (25%) and other PI matters. Some of your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):-

• Client interviews and taking instructions;
• Draft/prepare advice;
• Manage claims/files;
• Draft documents (e.g. letters of advice, letters of instruction to doctors and expert witnesses, applications, orders, affidavits,  disclosure/discovery);
• Preparation of briefs to Counsel;
• Attend mediations/negotiations and settlement conferences as required;
• Instructing Counsel at court and at settlement conferences/mediations;
• Liaise with clients, Lawyers, Barristers, insurers, doctors, investigators, financial advisors etc.
